UX Camp 2026 is open for proposals

This is your opportunity to inspire others, challenge assumptions, and contribute to the conversations shaping the future of UX in Alberta. We welcome talks and workshops that spark curiosity, celebrate creativity, and share real-world lessons that help our community grow together.

Let’s build a conference full of fresh insights, meaningful conversations, and an inclusive space for learning.

Submit your proposal

We’re excited to see your ideas for talks, panels, or workshops that will inspire, challenge, and connect our UX community. Please make sure your submission clearly outlines your topic, format, and the key takeaways you’ll deliver.

If you want to submit more than one proposal, complete one form per proposal.

After submitting your proposal, you will receive a confirmation email.

From that email, you can review or edit your submission at any time before the deadline.

Selection Criteria

To ensure a high-quality and engaging experience for our community, each event proposal is reviewed using the following four criteria.
Audience Interest:

Is the topic relevant, timely, and engaging for our community- including students, early-career designers, and experienced UX professionals?

Content Quality & Clarity:

Is the proposal well-structured, clearly articulated, and backed by thoughtful research or practical examples?

Topic Originality & Depth:

Does the proposal offer a fresh perspective, lived experience, or profound insight beyond what's easily found online?

Speaker Experience & Presence:

Has the speaker demonstrated the ability to present confidently and connect with an audience, whether through past talks, teaching, or community involvement?
